Company Overview
CA Assn of RV Parks & Campgrounds (CalARVC) represents privately owned and operated RV parks & campgrounds throughout California. We are a small association with 3 in-house staff and 3 additional independant contractors. Located in Auburn, we are a friendly, warm and family oriented office.
Though small, we offer a magnitude of services to our members including a paid lobbyist in Sacramento, annual convention & trade show, member programs & discounts, printed & electronic newsletters, products & supplies relevant to our industry, member website providing information & resources, membership & relationships with our national counterpart, and insurance discounts.
Our for-profit subsidiary corporation provides a consumer camping guide, consumer website, distribution and industry promotion.
Both our non-profit & for-profit corporations are run by a board of directors. Both meet quarterly. Additionally, the subsidiary meets monthly via conference call.
Company History
CalARVC was formed in 1975. It was known as the CA Travel Parks Assn through 2007. In 2008, we updated our name to better reflect our industry.
